Summary

Arturo Valdés Franzi, 1948, is a Ph.D. in Biology by the University of Salamanca. He is also a High school Professor (1973) and a University Professor (1986). Currently, he collaborates with the University of Castilla-La Mancha, working in the Botanical Institute of Albacete, where he is managing the Vegetable Systematic and Ethnobiology Section and he is working as a curator of the ALBA Herbarium, equipped with more than 15,000 specimens. He has published fifteen books, twenty book chapters and more than fifty research articles related with Botany (flora and vegetation), Ethnobotany and Natural Sciences Didactics in national and international journals. Furthermore, he has participated in more than forty National and International Congresses and he has co-supervised four Phd Thesis in Botany and Ethnobotany. He has also managed about fifteen Research Projects related with Botany, Ethnobotany and Natural Sciences Didactics; and he has participated in other eleven projects as a cooperative researcher. He has achieved one investigation strecht by CNEAI.
