Summary

Dr. Jose Manuel Cortés joined to the research group in 2003 and he did his Ph. D. Thesis focused in the development of analytical methods by coupling LC-GC using the TOTAD interface. In 2010 he got a postdoctoral fellowship at Lund University (Sweden) under the supervision of Professor Jan Ake Jonsson. In 2012 he returned to UCLM and in 2013 he got a “Cátedra CYTEMA” fellowship to study emergent contaminants in wastewater and lately he became assistant professor. During this time, he has published more than 20 papers in high impact journals and has several patents, besides he was co-director of two Ph. D. Thesis.
